Robert Pattinson was nervous about his sex scenes with Uma Thurman in new movie 'Bel Ami'.

The hunky 'Twilight' actor gets hot and steamy with the screen beauty in the film, in which he plays Parisian journalist Georges Duroy, but insists it was far from erotic because of the movie's plot.

He said, "The sex scenes with Uma are kind of disturbing.

"Her character Madeleine kind of uses sex as a sort of weapon and my character thinks like an animal. There are a lot of sex scenes in this film, so I'm asking quite a lot of myself, and with lots of different people as well."

The movie is a big screen adaptation of French author Guy de Maupassant’s 19th Century novel ‘Bel Ami’ in which ambitious young Georges sleeps his way to the top.

Film fans may also see Pattinson get steamy with Christina Ricci and Kristin Scott Thomas, who both star as Clotilde and Virginie respectively.

The 23-year-old actor also revealed he is waiting to find out when new the next 'Twilight' movie 'Breaking Dawn' will start shooting.

Pattinson, who plays vampire Edward Cullen in the 'franchise, added to the Daily Record newspaper, "It will be strange but it will be great just to be able to know what I'm doing.

"Not knowing when 'Breaking Dawn' is going to shoot, because it changes all the time, is a kind of burden, to have this thing where you don't know when it's going to happen.

"So you've got to organize everything in your life around that and that can be difficult."

Taylor Swift is looking for a tall and funny man.

The 'Love Story' star stands at an impressive 5ft 11in and admits her heart flutters at men who tower above her.

Taylor, who split from her ‘Twilight’ actor boyfriend Taylor Lautner in December, and has since been romantically linked to John Mayer and ‘Glee’ star Cory Monteith said, "The bad thing about being tall is the majority of people are at a different eye level than you, and so you feel like you're looking down to talk to people, which is kind of unnatural – looking down to talk to people, and they have to look way up to talk to you.

"It just depends on what group of people you're around. If there are a few scattered tall people in the room or in the group of people that you're talking to, it's not awkward at all. But if you're around a bunch of little, mini-people and you're the only giant in the circle, it can be kind of interesting."

But height isn't everything to the 20-year-old pop star, it's also important for a man to be able to make her laugh.

She added to America's OK! magazine, "Somebody who has a compatible sense of humor with me, that would be the most important thing."

It seems Taylor won't have to look too far for a new man, as Boys Like Girls frontman Martin Johnson, who dueted with her on single ‘Two is Better Than One,’ appears to have a crush on her.

He said, "Taylor Swift is the perfect human being. She's great. She's such a nice, wholehearted, sweet girl, and she's the biggest superstar in the world. My mom would be stoked if I brought her home."

Jamie Lynn Spears has split from the father of her child.

The Nickelodeon star, who gave birth to her daughter Maddie in 2007 when she was just 16, has been in an on/off relationship with the father Casey Aldridge ever since, but moved back in with her mother Lynne Spears six weeks ago.

A source told People magazine, "She did a lot of growing up but he didn't. I think she put up with more than she cared to put up with. She just had enough of it and was tired of the situation."

The 18-year-old star, the younger sister of Britney Spears, has reportedly already moved on, and is dating James Watson, 28, who owns a multimedia company in Los Angeles.

A Spears family friend said her new love interest “seems to be a nice guy".

Jamie Lynn and Casey had originally planned to marry, but in March 2009 it was reported the engagement was off.

Jamie Lynn's representatives would not comment on her split from Casey.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie looked "perfectly happy" at the SuperBowl last night, February 8.

The couple, who raise six children together, fought back against rumors they are on the verge of splitting and couldn't keep their hands off each other at the annual American football championship game at the Sun Life Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida.

A source told X17 Online, “Brad and Angelina looked perfectly happy together, so much so that it seems impossible that there were all of those recent reports suggesting they were separating."

The pair and their eight-year-old son Maddox watched the game in their VIP skybox as they saw the New Orleans Saints beat the Indianapolis Colts.

The couple have been plagued by rumors of a split over the past few weeks, and last month it was claimed they had visited lawyers to finalise custody arrangements and split their finances in the event of a separation.

Brad and Angelina weren't the only famous faces at the game.

Tom Cruise also attended with his three-year-old daughter Suri, his child with wife Katie Holmes, and son Connor, who he adopted with his ex-wife Nicole Kidman.

Demi Moore and her husband Ashton Kutcher were also watching from the crowd, as well as John Travolta, Gloria Estefan, and LL Cool J.

Simon Cowell is "getting serious" with make-up artist Mezhgan Hussainy.

The 50-year-old music mogul was spotted on a date at exclusive London restaurant Mr Chow with the 36-year-old beauty, and the pair are believed to be ready to go public with the romance.

A source said, "Simon is ready to let everyone know. Things between them are moving along very nicely indeed.

"Their relationship has been conducted under a cloak of secrecy but the situation has now changed."

A diner at the eatery added, "It was clear there was real chemistry between them. He seemed smitten and she likewise."

Mezhgan, who was born in Afghanistan before moving to the US in the early 80s, joins a long list of beauties who have dated Simon, including model Terri Seymour and 'So Macho' singer.

The source added, "Simon is clearly very enamored with Mezhgan – and it's little wonder why. She is absolutely stunning, not to mention incredibly intelligent and cultured."

Two admissions: I didn’t watch even ten seconds of the Superbowl, nor have I ever seen an episode of How I Met Your Mother.

Despite the fact that I’m American, football seems about as silly to me as it does to friends I have from unAmerican football playing countries. And although I’d gladly consume Jason Segal with a side of disco fries and find NPH hilarious, I’m bad at committing to television shows unless they have vampires. Even though the show has escaped my attention in spite of the more effusive efforts of my best friend, herself a huge fan of the show insistent on calling it HIMYM, I am familiar with the character of Barney Stinson.

So apparently, NPH held up a sign during the Superbowl last night. (Above.) And apparently the sign has a phone number to call Barney Stinson. And unsurprisingly, Barney Stinson’s phone number has been busy practically since the clip aired. So what happens if you call Barney Stinson at 1-877-987-6401? Another blog has transcribed the call, and here’s what Barney says:

Cameron Diaz was seen “grinding” on Alex 'A-Rod' Rodriguez at a party on Saturday night, February 6.

The ‘My Sister’s Keeper’ actress and the baseball player were at the

CAA Party in Miami and began flirting with each other.

The New York Yankees player was sitting on a couch beside Cameron as she "was dancing by herself" before moving her gyrating body towards him.

A fellow reveler told America's OK! magazine, "Katie and Cameron were getting along great. They were having a great time.”

At one point the blonde beauty, who was “tipsy” and being very "fun and flirty," began "grinding on 'A-Rod'".

The 37-year-old actress also partied with friends Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes at the bash, and was seen in between the two chatting when she wasn't hanging out with the hunky sportsman.

Other stars at the party included Jessica Alba, Adrian Grenier and Kevin Connolly.

Alex, 34, has been single since splitting from actress Kate Hudson in December.

Cameron has previously dated a host of famous men including Maroon 5 star Adam Levine, musician John Mayer and British model Paul Sculfor.

Jack Nicholson is considering being picked to death by vultures when he dies.

The 72-year-old actor has become fascinated with the traditional sky burials carried out by some Native Americans which involve the deceased's body being hung from a tree or wooden scaffold and being left for scavengers.

He told German TV channel Tele 5, "I've had several ideas. Once I thought it would be nice to be buried under a large statue that is at least ten metres high. Then I liked the nature of the Indians who haul their bodies up into the trees so that they are eaten by the birds."

Although Nicholson is undecided about the fate of his remains, one thing he is certain about is he does not want to be laid to rest in a coffin.

He said, "I will probably end up in a crematorium as I’m too claustrophobic for a coffin."

Even though he's been thinking about his funeral, Nicholson insists he isn't scared of death and feels as though he has achieved everything he wanted to in his life.

The Oscar winner, who starred in 'The Bucket List' with Morgan Freeman, about two terminally ill patients who escape from a cancer ward to fulfil their remaining life ambitions said, "I remember a wonderful conversation I once had with my fellow actor John Gielgud. He said he had made a schedule with things he would like to do before he dies... travel the entire world, learn how to cook, but he found that nothing was as appealing as acting. I agreed with him."

Native Americans would have sky burials because they believe after death the souls of the dead lingered in the air and watched over the tribe until it was time for their soul to move on to the afterlife.

By raising the bodies up high the belief was the soul could exit its' mortal constraints faster.

‘Lost’ star Matthew Fox likes being isolated.

The hunky actor, who plays Dr. Jack Shephard in the US drama series, grew up on a small farm in Wyoming around 60 miles away from the nearest town, but rather than feel as though he was cut off from the world he enjoyed the lifestyle.

Fox, who lived on the farm with his parents and two brothers said, “We didn’t have neighbors or anything like that. I think I did feel isolated, but in a good way. That’s remained very important to me. I really need those wide open spaces and feelings of loneliness, I can hear myself better there.”

The 43-year-old star, who has two children with his wife Margherita Ronchi, finds it difficult to be in Los Angeles for long periods of time for his acting career, because it is so different from his background and the lifestyle he enjoys.

Fox, who spent months at a time living on the Hawaiian island of Oahu shooting ‘Lost’ and has recently bought a house in the remote wilds of Oregon – explained to Seven magazine, “When I’m in Los Angeles I just can’t f***ing wait to get out of it. The traffic and everything just drives me nuts.”

Leona Lewis says people who wear fur make her “sick”.

The vegetarian singer, who is a public supporter of PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals), thinks it is disgusting the way the fashion and music worlds still embrace clothing made from animal pelts and the apparent resurgence in the popularity of fur.

Leona, who doesn’t wear suede, leather or other animal products said, “I think animals are treated very poorly. When I see people wearing fur it makes me so sick. Especially when I see young singers doing it – that sickens me. When I rocked up to my first photo shoot they had feathers and fur there and everything In despise. I had to make it so clear that I just do not go there.”

Leona, 24, is also angry at the way young women are made to feel as though they should constantly be dieting and should look a certain way.

The pop beauty, who shot to fame after winning Simon Cowell’s UK TV talent show ‘The X Factor’ in 2006 added to Live magazine, “There is definitely pressure to be a stick insect. Generally, in life, there is. All the magazines have tiny stick insects on their covers. But no one has ever said that to me. Everyone says I’ve lost weight but I don’t see it. It’s just eating healthily.”
